Grant Random | email Weekdays 6 am - 12 pm ET
Weekends 9pm - 3 am ET
Grant Random hails from the "trailer park capital of Illinois.” He's been a Ruby Tuesday waiter, a public access TV host and a vacuum cleaner salesman. He's been arrested more than once, has a strange fascination with yetis, alpacas, and ping-pong and he owns all four seasons of Knight Rider on DVD.

Kayla | email
Weekdays 12 pm - 6 pm ET
Saturdays 4 pm - 9 pm ET
Sundays 3 pm - 9 pm ET
Kayla began her career in music at her college radio station at Seton Hall University. It was because of albums like Sevendust’s Home and Incubus’ S.C.I.E.N.C.E. that she fell in love with the hard rock. The passion for this music is a part of her that she loves to be able to share. Stay heavy!

Covino | email
Weekdays 6 pm - 12 am ET
El Covino thinks of himself as "El Hombre." Some even call him "The Baddest Latin in Manhattan" (according to Covino). He says it was hard to choose between taking Derek Jeter's job or rocking the nation's airwaves. We’re glad he chose the mic over the mitt. (But please note: Covino is delusional.)

José | emailMetallically raised in Arizona, Jose Mangin went from pharmacy school grad student to satellite radio pioneer, shaping SiriusXM’s rock department into its present kick-ass form. In addition to his programming/on-air duties with Liquid Metal and Octane, Mangin also hosts MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball and the nationally syndicated LatiNation TV.

Shannon Gunz
Saturdays 12 am - 3 am ET
Saturday 9 pm - Sundays 3 am ET
Sundays 9 pm - 12 am ET
Girls with piercings, tattoos and a love for punk and metal don’t go over well in an Arizona cow town, so Shannon Gunz moved to the big city. Check her out if you’re looking for a chick who's just as comfortable in high heels and a hot dress as she is getting dirty on a motocross bike.

Satellite Radio

Commercial radio is about to die a horrible bloody oozing death.
Back in the early 80's, it was illegal for any one coporation/individual to own more than 3 radio stations. This gave listeners good music. The play lists were thousands of songs long, the announcers were local and content was the main priority. After the FCC deregulated the industry, making it possible to own hundreds of radio stations, every thing went down hill quickly. Revenue generation became the top priority. Now radio sucks.
Today I discovered what radio should be, and more. I now subscribe to Sirius satellite radio

Finally got Sirius radio

After a "few" weeks of thinking about it, I finally bit the bullet and got Sirius.
For some time now, my car radio has been on almost constant scan, looking for a decent station to listen to on my drive to and from work. The local oldies station changed their format not long ago, and Howard Stern, who I would sometime listen to on the morning drive moved to satellite. Even when I could find a decent talk station, it would be on AM, and in the evenings when radio stations drop their transmit power, it would be nearly impossible to listen to on the I680 corridor on the Sunol grade.
So last night, my receiver finally arrived and I did a quickie install in my vehicle just to be able to listen to it on the morning drive
